Restoring and Maintaining the Fine Vintage Cars

Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, the bread and butter of David's Rod Shop is Italian marques such as Ferrari, Lancia, and Alfa Romeo, however, we have experience with a wide range of pre war cars from Bugatti, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce as well as later sports and racing cars from Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Lamborghini. On top of this we are always up for a challenge and have a wide network of resources to approach projects outside our traditional scope.
In addition to our secure, private shop, we offer mobile service, traveling to your garage or warehouse to handle repairs.

Who are we?
David Ely is a Mechanical Engineer and during college began restoring vintage Ferrari grand touring cars. He has shown twice at Pebble Beach, and has judged at numerous concours events nationwide.So far, David has been intimately involved in over fifteen significant collector car restorations including a wide range of Ferraris from a 1961 400 Superamerica, two 330 GTS restorations, a 1961 300 SL Roadster, 1947 Cisitalia 202, and 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS. In addition to a wide range of restoration projects, much of his day to day surrounds maintaining private collections which feature a wide variety of cars, from big prewar cars to European exotics.
